Help identifying old evinrude motor

I want to buy a service manual like you guys suggested, but i can't find my id number listed in the web sites you recommend. The only numbers on my motor are 07561 805. I thought it is a 1975 model but now I am not sure. Please help me!!<br />jimpittman

Is this a 135HP as you posted earlier?<br />This is the 135HP serial numbers:<br />135342 135 1973 <br />135383 135 1973 <br />135443 135 1974 <br />135483 135 1974 <br />135489 135 1974 <br />135543 135 1975 <br />135583 135 1975 <br />135589 135 1975 <br />135643 135 1976 <br />135683 135 1976<br /><br />If you can't find any other number on the engine there is not much we can do(?). Maybe your dealer can help you find the proper manual.

Bear,<br />Thanks for the reply and the numbers. I found a sticker on the carberator that says my motor is a 1976 model. I will use your number 135683 to order my manual.<br />Thanks again<br />jimpittman
