I have an old apparently 2-stroke 1-cylinder OMC outboard. It has only wind-it-around rope start (no recoil), a small integral metal fuel tank. U-shaped plastic cowl/cover that attaches both to the carb and the tank mount. Start-in-gear type, and a flat bar tiller handle (broken off). I would like to identify it The frost plug has number E2951285. The wee motor is very light (maybe 20 pounds). No visible model label of any kind. Thanks!

Serial number places it at 1968 or 1969. Probably 1968.

OK, so it's a 1-1/2 hp motor. What model number do I use when buying parts? Looks like I need to seal the tank with antique auto tank sealer, and I haven't gotten it to fire yet. I suppose it has points/condenser, since I don't see a CD box.

1968 Evinrude 1-1/2hp model number is 1802.
