Hi,
Looking for any details for the red housing below:
The RED setup is what I am looking for. The picture is from a Donzi that has a Chevy 350 mated to Volvo 270T I am trying to emulate in my 69 Chris Craft Super Sport.
I removed a B30 6 cylinder from a 270T and tried to fit the blue "funnel shaped" Chevy 350 housing to it and its about 1 inch shorter when installed correctly. The spline overlap is short and the rubber drive bellows has to be stretched to the limit. It appears evident either the 270T was only intended for the B30 or there is a v8 housing and shaft that is about an inch longer than for the regular 280 (non-T units).
Any help much appreciated.
Jim
