any help greatly appreciated 98 baja outlaw 7.4 merc mpi bravo drive how do i change impeller thought it was same as alpha....thanks

The impeller is low on the starboard side of the engine. On a lot of boats, it's harder to replace than an Alpha, sad to say...

The Merc service manual gives great instructions. I remove the two hoses and use a 1/4" drive ratchet (3/8" ratchet is too big) and 1/2" socket to remove the pump from the bracket. I then replace the impeller on my work bench.
