Helping my brother with his Sea Ray with twin 454 Mercruiser Horizon 7.4's SN: L008277....I'm an outboard guy. For the life of me cant seem to find a diagram or definitive location for the IAC.
I spent a long time looking over the blocks, and have the PN and a pic of what it looks like. The entire top of the motor is Intake with no removable cover.
The intake/Flame arrestor is out the front side of the intake manifold area and there is not an IAC in that vicinity. I cannot get a good look at the area behind the heat exchanger at an area under the intake manifold. I see some things up in there, but not sure what they are. Perhaps its inside the flame arrestor housing? Been doing some diagnostics and taking readings and now really want to replace these.
Does someone know definitively? or can provide a diagram/pic of location?
