I'm looking for a unit for my 1981 35 horse Johnson. Everything I've found so far is for a 60 hp or larger. Does anyone know if they made a tilt trim for the smaller motors, or what interchanges? Thanks

Not for that year. Try finding a CMC PT-35 on ebay or Craigslist.

Concur, a CMC is the easiest way to get a TT on an engine, you may find a factory set up that may work but finding a working 29 year old TT is a pretty tall order.

With the CMC you bolt it right on and it works every time for years and years.

I got one for my '81 50 rude about 5-6 years ago and it has worked perfectly since, they are a little salty but like I said the chance of finding a used one that works is pretty rare and a new one will cost as much or more than a CMC.

For new check here at iboats, always a good price, used check Ebay.

Thanks guys! Pricey little buggers though. I'll try to find a used one.

Does anyone know the weight of the larger 130 HP CMC?

I'm more inclined to buy that one in case I have to upgrade to a larger motor later.

Don's marine salvage in clearwater FL or a yard closer to you.
