help me find out what year

I bought what i was told was a mariner 25 hp it runs like a champ but the cover has been painted so i can not tell what it is so here is what i know

3 cyl ser # 0E206102 i will need throtle parts as there are no guts in the tiller handle or under the cover he had a string to run the carb...i will post that in a diffrent thread with pics

but for now i need to start with te year and maybe a link to some part sites

The only engine that comes close to that HP and is a 3 cyl is a 3cyl lightning but it's starting serial number is OE268781 here's a link to parts for all mariner engines. Just mouse over the model and it will give you the serial numbers. http://www.mercruiserparts.com/selectModels3.asp?type_id=MAR

Ok i went and checked the numbers again to be sure i wrote them down right ...i did
standing behind the boat the ser tag is on the right hand side of the motor ...is there some where else i can find a number ?
i googled the number as well as looked all throug the link that was posted wih no luck

Mercury considers serial number 0E206102 a 1997 FORCE SEARS GAMEFISHER 25 MH model number H025201TS.

Your service manual from mercury is going to be part number 90-830894R1 (25HP FORCE)
