help me find tools and parts

I pulled the lower unit apart on the 1997 90elpt0 SN-0G527011 and its busted. I need the drive shaft holder tool the one that goes over the splines to get the nut off the pinion gear, where can I get one? Also need fwd gear, rev gear, clutch, shift cam, waterpump kit, and all the seals to put it back together. Can you help me find a good place to get all this stuff.

Get your self a factory shop manual. The Johnson/evinrude manuals do a great job having the special tools part numbers needed for any part of their motors. As fore parts your on the right track being on i-boats because for your motor they should have all you need. Oh and repost in the mercury section since you have a mercury

sometimes it is cheaper to get a used lower unit

you can use a pipe wrench on a part of the shaft that does not contact anything,be sure to adjust it so it doesnt slip,I used one for years,BUT ,you wil need a shimming tool ,which is most important for proper pinion gear mesh,I think I sa on this forum a guy made one,do some searches,you will also need a thin wrench for the pinion nut
