Going through a box of random parts. Found this prop cone. Heavy, solid brass, not plastic

Suspect it came off a 1960's vintage V4 OMC, but can't find a part number on it, nor can I find a picture of an identical one anywhere on the internet. That's a quarter next to it for scale.

Any ideas? Majorly stumped.

The old (late 50', early 60's) Johnnyrudes had a plastic "Prop nut" that kinda looked like that. A cotter pin held it on to the propshaft. Is the end drilled for a round shaft with a spot for a the drive pin ends to fit?

It's definitely not the common plastic prop cone. This thing is solid, with some heft to it. The cone is about 2" tall, with an inner diameter of 1-1/4".
Turns out it fits perfectly over the shear pin collar of an old Michigan PJ-75 (65-85hp) prop, so I'm going to assume that's what it came from, but I wish I could find a part number for it.

Looks just like the plastic prop nut I used to have. Maybe it is from a racing application or maybe from a real old evinrude?

Maybe Joe Reeves wil know.

If I remember right they used it on the sterndrive 80 hp which was a v-4 laying on its side with a similar outboard lower unit
