Help me identify this part...

These are the clips that my top attaches to. One is broken, as shown, which I'd like to replace. If it is identifiable, what is it called and where could I buy one? Is it a general part or some unique type of part?

Also, how does my top clip onto this? My top only has the "V" shaped braces, but no poles or anything with any type of attachment that looks to fit this.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Hello, Sorry I can't tell you where to find them, however I have the same type of clip on my boat up north and the way it works is there should be a pin on the bottom of your support and it just sits in the clip and when you tilt your support back towards the rear of the boat and snap your cover down it will hold the support and not come out of the clip. I hope that makes sense?

Thats what I was afraid of, I've never seen one on another boat, either.

After the V on your supports there is a single tube that runs down to those holders. At the end of the tube there is a T ( solid aluminum end with a metal dowel pushed through it) so when the entire assembly leans backwards, the T slides forward into the bracket holding it in place.

I don't know what they're called, but I would assume you are missing pieces to your top, or might even be broken.

Yup, they're missing. Can I replace them with a more standardized setup?

My ChrisCraft has the same ones.I ended up putting a small bolt thru the hole on the pole end. I used a self tap bolt then cut the head off.The original ends have a pressed in pin in them..I could never find the replacements either.
