just picked up this boat i believe it is a starcraft american but not sure and not sure what year it is either. Also anyone know where i can get parts for this hull?

What parts are missing? Likely have to try a salvage place and hope its parts are better then those you want to replace.

Only 1 I know Lanier Marine in Georgia. So.e say they are difficult to deal w unless in person....

Is there a hull id on the transom, starboard side, top corner ???

if you dont have the proper paperwork, you may have the yard planter model.

I bought a brand new 16' Starcraft American w/140 hp Mercruiser in the mid 70's.

There is little doubt that's a Starcraft American, maybe a 15'.

I doubt there is much in the way of Starcraft American "hull parts" available for it. What kind of part are you looking for?

Sn on id plate up by controls is 1016260. Any way of finding out year by this number? I called a dealer they couldnt help me

Nope

No year or HIN on the paperwork? Or stamped into the top right corner of the transom? Makes it a pre-1972...
