help needed please

Major help needed. I have a 1992 150hp Force with a bad Rev Limiter #332-4796) and I can't seem to find any place to purchase one. Lightning hit our motor and we think it fried the Limiter and possibley the power pack. Engine sputters at higher RPM's and gives only about 75% of it's previous speed.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Do not believe that motor has a rev limiter.

It does have a switchbox, and a "cd ignition converter." Not sure exactly what it does, but it is the 332-4796 part number.

Can't seem to find the same part here on iboats, or I would recommend you buy it here.

As far as you motor goes, you need to diagnose the problem before you start throwing money at parts.

First check for spark on all 5 plugs.
Check the voltage across the battery terminals when the engine is running.
