hi peeps iam new to the boating sceen,i have a jeanneau mery fisher 580 with a 2006 honda bf90 motor.the motor had been faultless untill last year i had petrol leaking from 2 carbs out the over flow.so when the boat came out the water for winter i decided to get the carbs overhauld. this was done by a mobile honda engineer took carbs of and done them at his workshop and came back and fitted them and re balanced carbs it seemed to be good ran sweet and no fuel leaking.i lanch the boat last weekend and the boat started brill ran nice and sweet and quite as i was going out the harbour i opend it up and it would not go over 2000rpm?its had new fuel filters plugs and fully seviced befor going back in the water.the boat will rev up in neutral and if u put it in gear lift the motor out the water for a second it will rev up to 5000rpm+ any hel would be most appreciated.
