hi and welcome to iboats! 3 of the best places to start will be the battery posts and wires even if they look clean re clean them and make sure they are tight also do the same to the connections on the starter if that don't work check the fuse on the ignition switch under the dash and make sure your in neutral lol :D

is there a way to bypass the ignition switch to check if that's the problem?

Re: help no start no power

you may want to try taking the Grey wire off the tach too. to bypass the switch i believe its the white/red and black wire you jump but I'm not 100% sure if its not it may just blow your fuse, if you don't mind risking a fuse try it or wait for someone who is 100% sure my tach started to die on me and caused similar problems like yours

I don't think I have a fuse box I looked everywhere I can't find it, all the wires from the dash go straight to the back by the engine

If the solenoid is mounted to the starter like a GM, short the main battery cable to the small lug with the yel/red stripe, if not locate the solenoid and jump there
nothing = battery, battery cables ,pos and neg connections
spins,= locate the 50A circuit breaker with the red button, push in hard ,if it clicks ,it was tripped.
pull the main harness connection , WD-40, reinsert, may be corroded a bit.

Re: help no start no power

I tied the 2 starter wires the motor turns over, I found the main harness plug in the back took it apart some pins were broke so I cut it off and put crimped on metal fast plugs, connected everythng by color code and nothing, went further down the harness found some other plug right there in the back looked like an extention to the harness took the plug apart same thing the contacts were corroded and some broke, did the same thing with them connected everything by color code and again nothing, what can I try next because im really stuck have no clue what to try next

I think you should stop cutting off plugs and find the fuse panel and the 50 amp breaker, also wires did not jar loose from the coil?

all wires are tight everywhere where there is a nut, I followed all wires and there is no fuse box anywhere wires go straight from the back to the front dash
