HELP! OIL TANK QUESTION

Have a 1998 evinrude ficht,have had many problems ranging from oil pressure switch to system check gauge. "Newest Problem" dealer replaced oil tank and now "no oil light comes on with tank full, i checked to make sure that there was no air in line and while i was checking noticed that the black cap on top of the tank where the wire comes in from the engine was burnt like some kind of feed back or short occurred. any suggestions. also boat is stalling while getting on plane, once up no problems, had this one time before and bad injector was the culprit, how could i check this or do i have to take it to be put on computer. thanks

no oil light is tripped by the ecu oil tank vent may be plugged<br />try squeezing oil return hose ahead of pressure regulater (between oil injecterand red/white plastic thing in line) this will blow any trapped air thur injecter.also smart to use ram injection oil injecters are difficult to test without lap top but you should here them clicking also check fuel lift pump for torn diaphram
