Help omc cobra out drive will not come off

I am trying to remove my out drive and it will not come off. It spaced out a little but wont come off any tips?

First tip: Don't ask this question in the Mercury and Mariner Outboard Troubles Forum. It is not a Mercury; it is not an outboard.

Brett - the only thing holding that drive on are the 6 bolts (3 on each side) and the lift cylinder pin. If those are all removed, it's stuck in the gimbal bearing.

With the drive backed off an inch you may be able to slide your engine forward now and then up/out, then take a look at the driveshaft from the inside. Grease it up, spray it with PBlaster and see if you can get it to come off.
