Help omc seadrive trim issues!

If there's anyone that might be able to help greatly would appreciate it. I have 1988 omc seadrive 2.0l that's having trim issues. What's happening when I trim the motor up for traveling it slowly falls back down. I have checked for leaks non so far fluid in the reservoir still falling any tips why and where I might find what I need to fix this. This my 1st boat love the haul can't afford same size new do to going thur divorce. Help please tips please and thank you!

If there are no leaks, the cylinders are probably leaking internally, or a valve is bypassing in the trim pump.. Unless it's really bad, I would just use a transom saver to hold up the motor and finish out the season. have the system serviced in the off season. The system could entirely fail and loose pressure, you'll still make it to the dock
