Need some help getting information on this boat I'm looking at. Only name I see on it is Sonar. The Hull ID number is CZF0018E888. Trying to learn as much as I can about it.

cant find a thing by my searching...look at the bright side. Maybe they went out of business because the built such a quality boat they priced themselves out of the market.

Well, one in good shape with an 88 Johnson 70 HP for $1500 sound like a good deal?

We'd need some pictures. That motor in good condition plus a decent trailer would be worth $1000 I would think. So unless the boat is an absolute basket case I'd think that'd be an excellent deal.

Re: Help on identifing a boat

Thanks. Yeah, I gotta put carpet in it, (Came with the boat) and figure out the trolling motor. It has power at the plug in, but no power to the motor, so its somewhere in between there. Think the foot switch might be bad. Soon as I figure out how to pull the foot controls apart to where I can get to the switches I'll run continuity check on 'em and see whats going on. Hmm, quick question on that.. Its a minnkota trolling motor, 12v or 24v. Any advantage to running it 24v aside of longer run time?
