Been looking to upgrade my small fishing boat for awhile now. Have come across another boat that I'm very interested in. Could use some help with the value of it and if price seems right. It's a 2005 Bass Tracker PT 175 Special Edition with 50hp Mercury. Everything is in good working condition. Seats and carpet in good condition. What do you guys think?

Edit: Deleted link. See Rule 8. You may not solicit any personal transaction (buy, sell, rent, trade, free, donate, etc.) in the forum. Seems like a lot of money to me. I would think that boat would sell new in 2005 for that much.

Is it really that overpriced? A new tracker 175 is $16,000

Sorry about breaking the rules. I've seen this done before so didn't realize it was wrong.

Can I ask about a boat if I don't provide the link?

2005 Bass Tracker PT 175 Speciall Edition. Everything works, no rips in seats, carpet is in good condition, trolling motor and fish finder work, very clean exterior as well. Has 50hp Mercury and trailer is in good shape. They are asking $7500. Does that seem fair?

Looked at almost the same boat that was advertised for 4500. It was a 2005 bought as a leftover in late 2006 and only used a couple of times in 2006. Looked to be almost in showroom condition. He then told me the ad was a mistake and he need 7300 to get out of the bank loan. I walked away but he did mention what bank it was and I knew one of the loan officers there. Called him and told him it was in my estimation a 4500 dollar boat but due to the condition and low hours if they repopped it I would take it off their hands for 5500 due to hours and condition. Don't know what ever happened to it but in my estimation that would have been a fair offer.
