Help Ordering Head Gasket

Ok, this is frustrating, several times I have tried to order head gaskets from I-boats marine store. I have ordered dozens of other parts over the past couple years with no problems. When I go to internal engine parts, find head gaskets, there's a whole list of head gaskets, by part number...what if you don't have a PARTS manuel? Every other part has an application process, it's like I'm supposed to order all of them and see which ones fit...I'm sure it's just me, and there's a very simple explanation, so I (and my blood pressure) would be very grateful for some help here...Thank you

Well what kind of motor? That would help.

I have 14 outboard motors, when I order impellers, carb. kits, coils... it gives me an application chart to click on my motor, how come I don't get an app. chart for head gaskets???...anyway I need head gaskets for a 1963 Bigtwin 40352 D (Evinrude 40hp) and a 1956 Lightwin 3018 (Evinrude 3hp)...Thanks

I frequently use the OEM part numbers available from some of the other online parts sites. MarineEngine.com has parts diagram listings back to 1955. Should be able to cross to the Sierra part number somewhere along the way...

Yes, I finally figured that out, thanks, I wonder why Iboats doesn't show an app. chart for head gaskets like other stuff...???
