Not only am I not a boater, I'm also not a mechanic. But I really think I want to get into boating, just need to learn.

most people dont start out with a 20 something year old , 24 foot sea ray. unless you have deep pockets and lots of spare time, imho, id pass and say thanks anyway. but thats just me

id pass and say thanks anyway.<br /><br />To a free boat? It was in good condition before sitting for 2 years. I think the boat will be fine. Also, I found out it's more like 21-22 ft. I spoke with the authorized dealer & was told it was a good boat & probably just needs the fluids changed, new battery, cleaned, etc. As long as teh transome's in good shape.
