thanks i will search itDon't see any place that has just that part. If you Google Force 9.9HP or 15HP carburetor, you'll see some used carburetors on the auction sites that have what looks like the part that you need.
this is not my main motor its just a backup i have another force 90HP . and i really dont know who it is working with this part broken and hows the carb opening .I am pretty sure you do need that part as it is throttle adjustment to the carbie, if it is broken how is your carbie opening?
Also you have a 18 foot Bayliner with a 15hp? My half cabin is 17 foot and it's max rating is 115hp I have a 100 on it, so your 15hp might push the boat but you will be lucky to get it to go on plane, which I doubt it will do.
I can't see how your motor can rev up with this part broken
i cant find this part #22 anywhere everywhere i go its ( this product is no longer available ) .Well I would say get the part, there is no way your motor can rev up by turning the handle, as the linkage from the cam to your carbie is broken, therefore your carbie can't open. http://http://www.perfprotech.com/mercruiser-parts-finder/carburetor-15-hp/assembly/1534/4?model=1437
You should be able to replace part no. 22
There is no way the carbie is opening with that part broken. Yours seems to be a 1989 model sears Gamefisher.
thanks for ur time searching my part , i found this carb on E.Bay and i sent message to the seller if he can sell me just the linkage not the whole thing .Actually there is a full carb (used) unit on eb*y with the throttle linkage you are looking for except it costs around $70. It is for a 9 HP which is no different from your 15 HP. Use the search term, "Gamefisher carburetor"
