Help Pontoon flooring

I purchased a used Lowe 24' pontoon boat last spring. The seller had replaced the flooring at some point with what he said was marine grade plywood. Instead of carpet, he used a vinyl flooring. Only problem is he did not properly get the vinyl flooring to the edge of the plywood in a few spots and therefore an inch or so of the outside wood is exposed to the elements.

In these spots, water has been sitting obviously and I can start to see it is weakening the wood.

Is there anything I can do at this point to stop the slow rot before it becomes a problem?

Epoxy? Some type of sealant?

Guess I'll answer my own question and document the results for future readers.

Rhino makes a new product called Ultraban. I'm going to treat as much of the exposed wood as I can with this product. From speaking with Rhino products by phone, this product is advertised to halt the progression of rot/mildew etc.

Once I have the Ultraban down, I will then go along the edge of my vinyl with 3M 5200 polyurethane adhesive.

Hopefully the result will be, the ends of the plywood that are beginning to soften will have a protective coating to stop further proggression and a new barrier to moisture getting under the floor and reaching the non ultraban treated wood.
