So Yacht DR,
Let me get this straight. in that picture the center is basiclly just tucked in over the staples or is it sawn?

Shields..

That seam is not tucked under anything..its only to "hide" two seams that are stapled together..butt joint per sey..

Its only to hide staple joints.. if you tack your seam in the middle ( as shown in the pic )

Yacht Dr.
I just took the back off one of the seats and found what you are tring to explain. Thanks, It seems pretty easy to understand after its apart. This is going to be a good project. I will post pics so everyone can see what i was confused about.
Thanks again for all the help.. But dont go far i will probably have alot more questions.
