I just picked her up yesterday. We test ran it briefly with a set of muffs on.
(1) I noticed that a steady stream of water was coming from a ~ 5/16ths hole on the front side (opposite side of prop) of the upper end, above where it bolts to the lower end. Is this a tell tale indication or normal operation for this motor?
(2) In researching manuals I have came across two different types; (a) Model and year specific book, (b) A narrow range based on various model/ Hp/years. Which would might be the most comprehensive therefore provide greatest benefit? What/is there a difference between a service manual and a shop manuals?
