HELP! WHAT YEAR IS MY MOTOR??

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT YEAR MY MOTOR IS? IT IS A MERCURY FORCE 15 HP OUTBOARD, MODEL # 152F9A, JUST BOUGHT IT AND GUY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT YEAR IT IS. ALSO, CAN YOU TELL ME THE GAS/OIL RATIO? HE DIDN'T KNOW THAT EITHER!! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP! NO WONDER HE SOLD ME THE DARN THING.......

Welcome to iboats.<br /><br />You have a 1989 model.<br /><br />gas/oil ratio is 50:1 <br />That is 6 gallons of gas to 16 ounces of oil. Or 1 gallon of gas would get 2.6 ounces of oil.

So Sorry, but the old eyes of mine are not what they used to be. I usually use caps to check for typos........hearing seems to be going too........

Hi. just got a FORCE 15 HP OUTBOARD 152F9A .
i used it all day, and it worked nice/ I tried to put it back on nuetral after i had shut it off and it wont seem to go back to it. Can you help me with
