I recently acquired a 1967, 4HP Sears/Ted Williams air cooled outboard. On the drive shaft, just before it enters the foot section, there is a ?bearing? or something that the shaft goes through. It is held in place by a rubber bushing. The ?bearing? is round but the hole where the shaft goes through the thing is not centered. The hole is not distorted. It fits on the shaft perfectly but it is just not centered. Is this normal and what is this thing? Where can I buy parts for this make and year model of motor?
