I have a this motor, does anyone know the proper fuel to oil ratio? Also, should i be using SAE 30, Mercury Oil, or two-stroke oil? Does anyone know a good parts website, the serial number is 4571138. I have been using crowleymarine.com, but they have two different numbers and I dont know which one to pick? All help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Should be a 50:1 ratio on that one...I use Penzoil synthetic 2 stroke oil in mine...most guys here will agree that synthetic is the way to go, unless you had an Optimax... As far as parts go, you can get a lot of them right here on this site!

You may use a non-synthetic TCW-III oil as well. Mix at 50::1. dougrussell.com has exploded parts pictures as well.

Carb parts and ignition parts are available many places on the web. See if you can find a junkyard near you as well. I also have a blown '77 merc 1500 with many good parts
