Help with adding power tilt and trim to 1978 1150 HP

Hi I am now thinking about adding power tilt and trim to my 1978 1150. I am having issues with my manual tilt pin as mentioned in an earlier post and am wondering if this ebay ad would fit my motor.

How big of a job is this to do? I am getting tired of lifting this motor in and out when i want to launch

I'd be careful purchasing that unit, it may work when it's not under load but leak or fail when lifting your engine. The motor is the most expensive part. Seals aren't that bad. As to it fitting your engine, do you have a manual? It should offer models with a t&t, start there to make sure.

That is not the correct PTT unit for your motor. Could it be adapted? I do not know.
