Yes, I agree vp is very proud of their parts! I guess that for the price, I'll try them and see how they perform.

Also, the part number for those NGK is: BPR-6EFS, not BTR. I wrote it down wrong. 15 bucks for 6 at auto zone.

The VP plugs are likely Champions according to what DonS used to say. He said don't use them. Not siure if they still are or not.

Personally, I would replace with the plugs you currently have.

What is the year of your motor?

Its a 2004 vp 4.3gxi-e. Yeah, I'm not crazy about champion plugs. The ones I have now are pretty expensive. Just as much as factory plugs.

I think I'll just stick with that plug. The rebate will make an even sweeter deal. It's identical to the densa branded plug recommended in my Clymer manual.

BTW...ditch the Clymer manual and get an OEM one.

I just use the Clymer manual to give me basic reference. I don't trust the specs in the manual. A factory manual would be nice though.
