I just bought the Humminbird 525 and bought the speed/temp sensor. I thought that I was getting an all in one. Looks like I have to install two transducers. I will be replacing a transducer from a apelco, that had an airmar transducer 3 in 1, so thosse holes are already there. Any ideas? I really don't want to drill into the fiberglass. I just bought a marlin el dorado and not sure if the transducer would go through the hull. Can I use 3m 5200 to install the speed sensor? or would it be better to drill it in?

Any ideas would be helpful.

TIA!

Is it the small wheel type speed sensor? Mine needed adjusted several times to get it close to GPS readings. 3M 5200 would probably hold it on but it would be a one shot deal.

Just drill it, not a big deal.
