Help with installing throttle cables

Hello, I am trying to figure out if I am missing a piece with installing this motor cables. It is a 50hp Evinrude 50573b. It has a metal peice that has one screw at the front, and the back cable can have a bolt put on to secure it. But the front peice is just hooked on the a little metal tab. If you can provide a part number that would be super helpful as well!

do you by chance know the part number? I’ve looked all through the part diagram and can’t find it.

??---Go to the parts page for remote control.----I have more than one of those clips.----Know the part # as well.-----But you won't learn unless you find it yourself ---Sorry to be blunt here.

I appreciate that link, it looks like it is a 310729. Then it has two screws to hold it on. Thank you for guiding me in the right direction!

I do not believe you need tools to install that clip !----So do not open your tool box on this simple set-up.
