hi can someoen tell me what the oil ratio is for this modle and does it have reverse..... modle k700 1107a

it is air cooled...... it is a 7 hp

would this push a 14' boat

Hi,

Your outboard was made 1973, by Clinton, for MW. The actual model number on the outboard would start with KTV. If you can find that, I can tell you the exact year for sure, but 1973 was the only year the K700 Clinton engine was used in a MW outboard.

Fuelil ratio for other Clinton-based engines in that age range was 24:1, and that should be safe for yours, although I do not have the specifics for your model. Use chainsaw oil or TCW3 outboard oil. Either one will work.

It has no reverse.

Will it push a 14' boat? Sure. Will it plane a 14' boat? Probably not. Those single-cylinder air-cooled outboards from that era generally don't do as well as similar sizes of 2-cylinder water-cooled outboards.
