I have a 24 foot lonestar project boat. I bought a 1986 Mercury 115 inline 6 model 115ELPTO pos ser # 8166328. When I bought the engine it was on the guys boat. I saw it run and checked the compression. it was all good. the trim worked just fine. I took delivery of the engine about a month later when the guy had it removed and a new motor put back on his boat. I recieved the quicksilver controls and the rest of the wiring. Yesterday I mounted the engine on my project boat. I hooked up the wires and most everything went into place. I did have a couple of problems.

Here is my questions: I connected a short line to the trim cylenoids on the motor. That line is suppose to plug into something ( I believe the wires from the controls where the trim swich is.) I don't have anything to plug it into. The wires comming from the controls that have the trim control on it have been cut off. Here is two pictures, the first is of the end of the line that comes from the motor with the plug on it. the other is the picture of the wires comming from the control s that is cut off. can I wire them together some how. ?

The next problem is with what I believe is the tach wires. I hooked up one end of a wire lead with a plug-in with a purple wire. There were two other wires left, one black (ground) and the other one (poss. Tan or grey) I could not tell where they hooked up. See pic:

On the other end of those wires there is a female plug-in. I have nothing to plug it into. See pic:

Thanks for any help anyone can give. Dan

The forth is the plug for the AutoBlend which someone used the good sence to remove from the engine or it would not be around today.

Thanks for the pics of the wiring system. I tryed to print them off, but the wire labeling was too small and distorted to see what they said. Could they be resent in the original size. Thanks again. Dan
