Bought a new Humminbird Helix 5 DI GPS fishfinder last spring & still haven't marked any fish:(
It shows the GPS, speed, temp, & time but anything in the water I have a blank screen. Sent the transducer in to have it fixed & they said there's nothing wrong with it.
Any1 have an idea what the problem is?

Nope. Completely blank screen, except for the readouts & that doesn't even show the depth

Have you talked or emailed the factory about your problem? Seems they can offer the best answers of anybody. Surely sounds like you may have a head unit problem to me. Might be time to send that part in for repairs. JMHO!

Ok, what happens if you turn it on when the boat is out of the water, sitting on the trailer?

The depth should read at 6', mine reads 6.2 feet.

You get no reading at all?

Nothing in regular sonar, or in DI ?

What is the sonar sensitivity level set at?

Wow, bought it las spring? I would have been smashing the thing by July.

Have you used the Humminbird email customer service, or the live chat service?

Or have you tried this chat board?

I have a blank screen for anything under the boat:( it would have been smashed except I had a cheap fishfinder too so I used that for the sonar capabilities & the hummingbird for the speed & GPS:/
The sensitivity is set in the middle.
Thanks for the tips
