Hi,

been crusing through the books, BRP and other online resources and am still confused if a part needed found on Ebay will work for my motor.

the part in question is PN: 0322860 mount. Usually item 12 or 13 on the mid-section pages of the diagrams. This is on ebay for a decent price. Original motor it was on was a 1979 115ML79R.

My motor is a 88SPL E88TSLEOC....Its mount is pn: 0399305.

Crowley Marine site shows some compatible parts for mine, but this doesnt appear on the list, However it looks just like it.

Anyone have any info or ability to say if this is really compatible and would fit my steering arm?

thanks for any help

Re: Help with Part compatibility

Not sure that it will work. 322860 in the Bombardier system shows that it has been discontinued and that it does not supercede to any other number. It is always possible that the bolt holes are a different size between these two parts. You may be able to modify/adapt the 79 part to get it to work. Probably worth the risk, since the original 399305 part is also NLA.

Re: Help with Part compatibility

It is mostly a question of rubber hardness - read vibration transfer.
They are all the same in bolt-pattern back to the 80's, but different hardness in the rubber. May even vary between 20" and 25" legs and even a 'racing' version available. What is important is that all elements are changed as 'pairs' and not only one pcs.

I think the part in question is the mount bracket, not the two rubber mounts.

correct. was just interested in the mount bracket...The roundish unit with the 4 holes. Sure does look the same, but definetly does not super-cede to the other more common numbers. Was thinking of offering 25 bucks, maybe it will work.

Thanks
