Need some help with pricing. From Minnesota USA going to the dealer this weekend to talk about buying. Can anyone help with good price for 2011 188 powered by 200hp Mercury motor. What is price someone has recently paid for a new 188 with 200hp. Any help is great!

Don't know if this will help you out or not, but I just got back from the local boat show. They had a 188 with Yamaha 115 4 stroke plus a galvinized trailer going for $22500. Thats in central NC. They only seem to offer Yamaha engines with the Hurricanes down here. Good luck on your purchase.

With the exchange rate being on par between Canadian and US dollars, I'd suspect you'll be somewhere around the $30k range with the boat, trailer, and a 200HP Mercury. Mine was in that range last year when I bought it. (I added a few extras and guessing at the exchange rate).

The boat and the 115 as Ernest T mentioned at $22500 is about right. ($20k boat/motor plus the trailer) I suspect you'd be in the $6-8k range on the upgrade to 200HP (depending on 2 stroke vs 4 stroke)

Thanks for the advice. Sign the contract on a 2011 Hurricane Sundeck Sport 188 powered by a 200XL Mercury Verado. Got a lot of options (docking lights, s/s rails, s/s cup holders, s/s sony stereo, carpet, depth finder, ski pole, s/s prop, swing tongue trailer, trailer guides, spare tire, bow table and power steering) along with a Phoenix trailer. Price was just under $32,000. Should be at the dealer by the beginning of May, can wait till this snow melts and ice-out to use it!!!!

Congratulations on your new boat! :) It sounds very nice. If you got the Sony stereo model #CDX-HR70MS, check out this forum for my thread on getting a remote for this system, if your dealer didn't give you one. The remote can make it much easier to operate the system depending on where it is located.

Sounds like you got a reasonable deal....congratulations on your new boat. Again, I have the same with a 200HP Mercury Optimax. You'll love the performance (and depending on how it's prop'd) will get you in the 50 to low 50's MPH range on top end.
