Hi guys, so to start off with.
I am working on a "Sunray 233 I believe it to be a 1971-1976 era boat, with a Ford 351CI (233hp) engine. V8" with a MC-1 Stern drive.
I have a Alpha Gen 1 Gimble and transome plate out on my work bench, from a boat that didnt make it

A few of you suggested that I take the Gimble off my winter project, and my muscle hate you for it!
I am having problems getting my Exhaust Bellow (i think this is what its called its a T junction that the 2 elbows connect too, and connect to the gimble housing) off.
so, I have moved the engine back, and got the exhaust Elbows off. there was 3 allan key style per elbow. and I got 4 bolts off the exhaust bellows. I cant see directly where the T is, the engine is kind of in the way. I would like to move it, but its not an option right now.
I know I have the 4 bolts off, but the sucker wont budge.
I have tried with a block of wood and a ballpean hammer, the gimble housing is loose, so I have tried hauling on it, to get the banging around to break it loose, but no go.
its almost like there is a 5th bolt, or something that is holding on to it. I dont have a picture atm , as much as I would like, I forgot my cammera.
I was considering using a chisel and a hmmer to break the seam, I can see it. but I didnt want to push too hard for fear I missed something.
when I look at my Alpha Gen 1 Gimble. it all looks identicle
so , AM I missing something? is it possible for the seam to be that tight it wont let loose?
is there something special about the MC-1 I dont know about?
does anyone have a clear parts blow up of the gimble and those exhaust?
short of hammering with a chisle in the seam, or using a crowbar with a wood block on the gimble housing (from the outside) does anyone have a suggestion?
please and thanks
