Hello.
When you winterize your boat trailer I heard that you want to jack it up and take the tires off. My question is where do you jack it from? If you jack it from the axle you still put pressure on the springs. I thought about putting it on jack stands on the frame by the axle, but will this bend the frame? The boat will be stored in my garage but not heated. Thanks

if in garage, you can use the axle, or frame, no need to take the tires off, just relieve the weight. the main reason is so the don't get a flat spot, from sitting.

Use jack stands or stout wood blocks to support the frame. Place them behind but as close as possible to the rear spring shackles. You won't bend the frame. Leave the tires on and give them a spin each time you pass by. Keeps the rollers from leaving a mark on the bearing races.
