Help with trigger and stator

I have a 1990 Force 120 L-Drive cuttycabin carpi.. I had it stored for the past winter and brought it out and was working on it and my mother had hooked the batterys up back words the positive to the negative and the negative to the positivewitch did short out a few wires in my main harness and all my brakers and my rectifier. I have replaced all of the above but still have no spark so I am lead to belave that it has to be in the Trigger or the CDI packs but am not sure how to tell what the readings should be on a DVA tester or where to test to get the readings or if the problem is in the stator it's self any help would be nice thank you
