help with valves

hi
i am having a problem with valves on a Volvo pent 4.3 V 1995
i adjust the valve lash like it says in manual then give it a full turn to seat them then after ten minutes they are all lose again the only way i can get them too adjust correct is too tighten nut all the way down so it wont turn any more then i run the engine it sounds sweet no tapping i dont no if this is correct please help

Sounds like the adjusting / lock nuts are worn out and need to be replaced...

Bottoming out the lifter is just masking your problem... Find out what's wrong and fix it...

I think I would put a manual oil pressure guage on it and check it hot.

Is this a balance shaft V6, if so you torque to 20FtLbs .

Not sure what you are using for a manual, but I would suggest you throw it away because it's not for your engine.

Yes those 4.3s have non-adjustable valves. Tighten and torque as above.
