Got a break in the rain here in the PNW. Time to fix a very leaky windshield after last seasons caulking didn't do the job. It's gotta come off. I'd appreciate any suggestions and guidance. I've removed the plastic covers exposing the screws that run along the bottom of the metal frame, going down into the fiberglass deck. I assume these screws are not all that is holding the entire windshield to the deck. It appears that there are bolts at both front corners holding it to the deck as well. On the port side under the windshield corner there is a bolt/nut coming thru the deck. I assume it's for the windshield. On the starboard side I haven't found anything yet. Am I correct on the corner bolt assumption?

There appears to be no access to the bolt from the outside. I assume it has to be undone from the inside, so I'll have to cut away any carpeting, etc. necessary to access it. Am I on the right track here?

Thanks for the help!

Re: Help With Windshield Removal (w/Pics)

I have to correct my post. After further inspection on both port and starboard side I can find no bolts. Could it be that the only thing holding this windshield on is all the little sheet metal style screws running all along the bottom of the frame?

Thanks

My W/S is held by strips that fit into grooves on the frame and the strips are held with screws. From what I can see in your pics, yours is the same or very similar.
