help!!!

HI i have a 1985 manier magnum 2 and have replaced the water impeller the thermatats the popet and dirafram. And went as far to take a head off to see why im getting to much water pressuer. I was told i have blockage in the motor and it has been rebult thought someone put the wrong gasket on but its right and im thinking of shooting the motor now. Please help!!!

make sure water passages arent blocked and water lines/fittings are clean

Double check the poppet valve SEAT to be sure that it is staying in place.

If the seat is loose and sliding out along with the poppet valve then the valve isn't actually opening to allow water flow, resulting in high pressure and often overheating.

thanks for repling. i have put a new poppet seat in and it seems to be tight to where it not coming out and have checked the lines and theres no blockeg there and when i pulled the head off all the ports on the block seem to be clear to. is there something else i could check
