Hello, I need some help to buy and set up a kicker. I have a 1986 bayliner capri that i bought a couple of years ago. It is my first and I am learning as I go. I worked a lot on the main motor and thank to people it is running now (1986 Force 85hp). I want to add a kicker 5-6 hp for peace of mind. I am planning to use it in the Fraser river and Cutlas lake. my main motor is 2 stroke 50-1 ratio (gas-oil). I installed the bracket on the left side of the main motor as it was suggeted by some members here. So my questions,
should i buy short shaft or long? or better say how to measure what is the right size?
some of the mortors have internal tank some don't, which one is better?
How the handle works? Can i still operate the motor with the handle half extended?
Thank you!
Mike
