You are not a man, you are a machine... Your project is coming together real quick. In your video you said that with the front the trailer lifted it was flexing your hull, by how much and how much did you lift the trailer. I have done the same thing, but never thought that the trailer would bend the hull. I have a single axle trailer so hopefully by trailer isn't bending.

Looking forward to your next video already

It is really looking good. Do you have an idea how much resin you needed to complete your transom?

I did similar size transom and i used 1.4L of resin. I work of ml units since syringes are marked with same units that i measure the catalyst.

Jay,
Im not sure if thats the case with your hull, but once i removed all support (stringers, strakes, and foam) i've noticed boat settled on the bunks a little. Using wood i supported hull off its sides so before glassing stringers, the shape of the hull would not be affected by the bunks.

I've watched your posts on CSR and "subscribed" to you videos on YouTube, so I figured I'd join here and get involved with the main thread.
You're doing a great job and this boat deserves your detailed treatment. I had an '95 220OV SeaRay that was the exact same color.

Great job on the stringers and transom! Your quality of work is amazing, really is something how well you do things. Like I have said before I love the videos and even with being an aluminum guy, not a glass guy, it's still great getting tips on how to do things and your techniques.

I was using an engine hoist and it was up pretty high. Made a pretty big difference with how the front part of the stringers lay down.

That made me laugh. It is really hard to look forward to Mondays, so I guess I am doing something right.

It is really looking good. Do you have an idea how much resin you needed to complete your transom?

Right at 2.5 gallons

Go get'm Jay. Be careful of that heat.

If you are talking about the Texas heat... I love it. I cannot stand weather below 60.

God point. I will make sure is is not sitting funny on the bunks.

Welcome to my dry dock. The more we have here the better.

I will snap a chalk line and then use my little Dewalt circular saw to cut them out.

I also wanted to run an idea by you guys. I get LOADS and LOADS of questions in my PM, here in this thread, and on YouTube every day. I really like answering all the questions, but I STINK at typing. I was thinking of starting a readers mail video segment where I can take a whole bunch of questions and answer them in video form. Depending on how many I get would dictate how often I update the videos. Just an idea.

You're a good man for making the videos and taking the time to help others. I usually leave just enough time to get to get it done and pack too much into the day.

Keep it up dude. Typing sucks doesn't it :)

I know what you mean Sprint. I have to consciously tell myself to stop and film what I am doing, or I forget. Tonight I got the rest of the stringers coated in resin. tomorrow I will start coating them in csm for a good initial coat.

Right now aluminum is looking real good to me.

Sorry I have been MIA for the past week. Work kept me real busy and I did not get to do much on the boat until yesterday. I made big progress this weekend and I am not finished yet. (Just a little break) I have most of the stringers bed in the hull and cut to height. I will have pictures and video tonight or tomorrow morning.
