well thanks to those of you whod helped i am i thanks i put lower unit back together after that ski incident ran it in the trash can with out prop it didnt even mak a sound when i out it in geat forward or reverse. i use the lock tight on the threaded rod and we will see what happins headed out as soon as i post this ( fingers toes and *&^% crossed and hope to do some fishing as well thanks again the people her are a great welth of knowledge <br /><br />Bill<br />
