New eBay listing today, Trailer not included. WTF?

Hull only

Maybe some of you guys are good enough. I guess it could be made into a Jacuzzi . . .

Are you sure they are not offering $100 to dispose of it?

"1999 38" Twin Step Fountan hull only. Burned to waterline in center. Trailer not included. Local pickup. Must be picked up by 10/31/2006"

Sheesh....the sad thing is...someone will buy it for a couple grand..

Now that would be one hell of a project.
It would probably be less expensive to buy a brand new loaded 38' rather than fix up that POS.

I guess the big question is....is there a market for SCRAP fiberglass? 8)

Gotta be a few tons of it right there.

Strizzy- I had that boat saved in (watched items). Not that I wanted it, I just wanted to see what kind of $ it went for.
I can't belive it had a reserve price. I would have been happy to get $200.00 for it.

Monday mornin ebay pick of the week:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1990...1QQihZ018QQcategoryZ26432QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Now that I think about it, Profile wanted the dealer/shop I work at to carry their boats... I really dont like the "fit and finish" of this one... although the boat they brought to the shop as pretty sweet looking... Maybe they pulled a Crownline and know what their doing now...

Strizzy - sooo...they want 6k (buy it now) for a stripped boat (hull only) with rotted wood? Wow. Where do they get their drugs..I think I need some. I have a 1976 Glastron that I would be willing to part with for 6k as is...only needs new transom, floor and motor... :)

You say only 6k for your boat?! Interesting.... :p

Im so addicted to ebay and craigslist, everyday I search for a truck, nice boat project, and any deals on tools... help?

I wonder what happend to my text 4 posts up, Its missing.

I've been looking for a 25-30' boat for almost a year now and can't find anything priced right. Its crazy what people will pay for something that needs so much work.

Well, I guess the transom is in pretty good shape - they could cut out the burned section, move the transom forward about 14 ft, add some duct tape & a couple of blown 454's & ZOOM! :=
