Re: Here's a good project - 38' Fountain

QC - The local hot-shot mechanic had one of the first Fountains anybody had seen around here about 15 yrs ago (wrote it off as a "tow" vessel). It was all bright red - all souped up power, radar arch - the works. Anyways, he took it out in a fog one night partying with some buddies & got t-boned - looked almost as bad as this one. Had it patched up (insurance job, no doubt) & sold it as "minor damaged". Remembering that is what prompted my last post - I bet that thing's still around somewhere - goin' fast & suckin' gas & crackin' at the seams!

I've seen it done with a V16 CAT engine oil pan that someone cut a chunk out of and rewelded to fit on a V12 . . . :=

Edit: That emoticon reminds of the joke that ends with Mickey Mouse saying to his Psychiatrist, "I didn't say she was crazy, I said she was effing Goofy".
