ok guys i rebuilt the carb and fuel pump and took boat out today. big diff.. i slam into wot and the boat takes off.gets to 20 mph and stays there bout 5 seconds then shoot of like a rocket to 35 mph. why the 5 second pause? 88 bayliner capri 1900 br w/ 88 force 125 hp.
2nd prob: looked back and the transom is cracked inside the boat boat 2" below the mounting bolts bout 5" long width (like transon pulling apart from the boat ). transom was replaced and the fiber glass job looks really bad im thinking the transom had alittle give and pulled the fiberglass apart.. brought it home and i stood on leg of motor and really jumped up and down hard ( i weigh bout 300 lbs) and the transom only had bout 1/4" of play at the top. what are you guys thoughts? think it will be ok this summer if i caulk the little gap so water dont get down in the transom?
