This is what took so long to retrieve today.....this yahoo had to take over 1 hour, and the whole side of the ramp (the white pickup with the yellow seadoo is his too, its STUCK spinning tires on the ramp). As they were pulling the boat out, you hear this loud thud, look over and the Baja listed to starboard. tried again, it went to port. on and on for an hour. wow.

Some people have more money than brains, usually temporarily.

Well, unfortunately, money can't buy common sense. That is a nice boat / truck combo, though.

yep, it was the biggest, baddest thing at the marina today. But, what good is it if you cant retrieve it? what actually happened was they pulled it out slightly off the bunks, then came back later when the ramp wasnt so busy to finally get it right. that was about 5 attempts after this pic was teken haha. guess they were tired of getting yelled at lol

Nice picture,

He should be looking for a bigger truck and replacing that defective trailer,

and new tires on the white pickup.

Makes me laugh thinking about how he's KING of the Lake, but a JESTER at the ramp.

At the end of the day he failed to impress the 9.5 babe hanging on his every word by not being able to get it up (the ramp)

redone4x4 It must have been quite a show, I wish I was there. Heck it was 66 degrees here today, I wish I was anywhere where it was warmer. Normal average 80, Global Warming????

are you kidding? its an F350 diesel.

He was kidding about the Ranger, but I thought it was a Dodge. Your angle on the camera makes the ramp look level and the lake water rising slightly to the left. Is the ramp grade that small? Never been to Echo Bay.

It was one of those, OMG let me get a pic of this! and i just whipped it out of my pocket and snapped it. Thats the ever-so-popular Calville ramp.

Sorry, assumed it was Echo, since I use Callville several times a week. I did not even recognize it, my bad... Wow, I feel stupid now...

Anyhow, the white truck pulling out the ski should be on top of concrete, why is he stuck? (unless the picture is more deceiving than I thought) The ramp lanes adjacent to the dock are concrete with the West side (far side of the ramp in the pic) only being a short distance out of the water. But, he still should on the concrete. Could simply be that I'm giving him more credit than he deserves. Or, there may be some bay bottom issues caused by power loading. Also, looks like the water level is up a couple of feet. I haven't been there for the past two weeks, back issues.

I watch a lot of trucks with big boats get stuck retrieving where the big boat is. No concrete and way too much weight. A couple of weeks ago, I watched/waited for a really big boat to get straightened out. He was smarter, he was on the East (near) side of the ramp.

Re: Hey Boss, is it on the trailer right?

I always talk about Echo, so thats understandable lol.
well, I'm not going to say much but the Baja/white truck seadoos group were not the brightest out there. So theres really not any explenation for them getting stuck, they were the only ones that did. oh well. The golf cart driver told us that they are going to make a new road, so that you launch closer to the breakwater.....that would be really nice to see. but, im convinced on Echo. I'll do Calville during the week, but not on a weekend. 1 hr 20 min. before the boat hit the trailer. rediculous.
